Every person featured is a real Israeli (or lone Soldier) who served in the IDF. They come from a range of units: combat, support, intelligence, special forces, etc, and share their personal stories openly. Some are officers. Some are reservists. Some have seen combat, others trained thousands. But all of them have something powerful to say.

We are unapologetically pro-Israel's right to defend herself, but our mission is about culture, identity, and understanding, not policy debates. You’ll hear personal truths, not talking points.

In Israel, everybody knows everybody. The IDF is our melting pot. We source stories through a trusted network of Israeli veterans, reservists, and unit associations. Many are referred directly by people we’ve already interviewed. Every participant is verified, briefed, and interviewed with respect and transparency. They speak voluntarily, not through an organization or political body.

There are hundreds of active units across the IDF, including infantry, air force, intelligence, special operations, artillery, border defense, and more. Each has its own history, mission, and culture. HonorBox selects one unit per month to spotlight, so over time, you’ll build a deep understanding of how the army actually functions.
